Organization Transition Announcement

With deep appreciation for her dedicated service and leadership, Parkour Visions is announcing that Executive Director Caitlin Pontrella will be transitioning from her role on the staff to a new role on the Board of Directors. This will allow Caitlin to pursue other opportunities while continuing to provide guidance for PKV, albeit in a different capacity. 

Caitlin joined Parkour Visions as Executive Director in 2017 during a time of deep uncertainty after the closing of our old gym. 

Over the last two and a half years she helped craft a new vision for the organization, established important strategic partnerships with local government and community organizations, oversaw the launch of over 70+ classes, school programs, camps, and events, and helped improve and stabilize operations and organizational processes.

Today we have reconnected with the root values of parkour and made a commitment to ensuring people of all dimensions of diversity have an opportunity to participate in parkour and the movement arts. 

In 2020 we continue on to the next stage of growth. With her transition onto the Board, Caitlin will be leading our newly established Visioning Committee, composed of passionate community members, to help us tackle challenges and dream up new paths to impact. The organization as a whole will be expanding our network of volunteers, focusing our energy on our programs with greatest impact, and reaching out into new neighborhoods and communities.

Caitlins last day in this role will be April 1st, 2020 at which point a successor or interim Executive Director will be named. During this time of transition, we look on your continued support so that the communities we serve can count on us.
