Parkour Visions exists as an extension of the community we serve. Community support is essential to build and maintain a strong parkour program that equally supports community members in all walks of their parkour practice. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we give everything we receive. This balance is reflected in our Free Volunteer Memberships.

Our Volunteer members gain access to an equal exchange of volunteer work hours for coached hours. By being a volunteer, your volunteer membership is free. For every hour of volunteer work that you do, you earn one (1) Free-Drop-In Class. If you still want to contribute financially to Parkour Visions, we welcome your donations which may also be tax-deductible.

—Volunteering to support Parkour Visions can be a great way to support your community while expanding the personal benefits of your parkour practice and your own personal growth. The more you volunteer, the more you unlock your individual opportunity to enjoy from the mental, emotional and physical benefits of a well rounded parkour practice . Experience the perfect balance of giving and receiving while supporting your local parkour community!

FAQ

What happens after I apply?
After you apply, we will send you an info email with the dates of our volunteer trainings and currently available positions that match your interests. If you are 18+ you will receive an email requesting that you fill out a background check. After you pass the background check and confirm you can attend the trainings, we will confirm your volunteer schedule.

What should I do if I can’t make my assigned shift?
Please let the volunteer coordinator know as soon as possible. If you miss more than one work trade shift, you may be removed from the program.

What if I miss the beginning of the season? Can I join late?
At this time, we’re not able to accept applicants late in the season, but you are welcome to apply for next season.

What if I miss a volunteer training? Is there a make-up opportunity?
The in-person training has no make-up option. The second training is online and has two dates to choose from. If you miss either training, you will not be able to volunteer with us this season, but you can apply again next season.

Do I need experience to volunteer?
No experience is needed unless you are volunteering to lead events. Event leaders should have some previous experience coaching or facilitating events.

Do I need to submit to a background check if I only want to volunteer at events for adults?
Yes, you will need to pass a background check. Our adult events are 16+, so you may be working with minors as a volunteer.
