Apply now for the Youth Parkour Team!
The Parkour Visions Youth Team welcomes students 7–18 looking to challenge themselves in new ways. This team meets weekly during the school year. It promotes a rigorous physical and mental routine focused on nurturing well-rounded athletes and community leaders, while still providing a fun, social training experience.
Youth Team requires 6+ months (2 seasons) of parkour experience. For students new to parkour, please join a Parkour Foundations class to learn the basics before joining the Youth Team.
Fall 2024 Season
Our theme for Fall 2024 is “Intention.” We’ll talk about goal-setting and purpose. We’ll dig deeper into questions like, “Why do you do parkour?” “What do you hope to accomplish?” And we’ll guide students in defining their process for getting there.
Students may register for one or more sessions:
Tuesdays, 5—6:15pm ages 7-11 & 5:30-7pm ages 12-18 @ Mt. Tabor Park
Thursdays, 3:45—4:15pm All Ages @ Grant Park
Sundays, 3–4:30pm All Ages @ Irving Park
Prerequisites: To join, students should have at least six months of parkour experience (or two seasons with Parkour Visions) and be able to demonstrate proficiency in fundamental parkour techniques.
