join our Youth Parkour Team!

Starting in 2025 Team Classes are only accessible to Parkour Team Members. Our inaugural parkour team membership includes five-classes-a-month. It includes one “free-bonus” drop-in class each month to encourage our Team Members to practice different aspects of parkour, in different locations, under different coaches and with the different class dynamics of training with different student bodies.

The Parkour Visions Youth Team welcomes students 7–18 looking to challenge themselves in new ways. We meet at different locations year-around. Parkour Team practice promotes a rigorous physical and mental routine focused on nurturing well-rounded athletes and community leaders. We meet outside to train every week in a fun, social training experience.

Youth Team requires 6+ months (2 seasons) of parkour experience. For students new to parkour, please look at a Parkour Foundations class or an age appropriate All-Levels class to learn the basics before joining our Youth Parkour Team.

Winter 2025 Season

Our theme for Winter 2025 is “Resolution.” Looking beyond the new-year tradition, we look to our bodies to gain a higher resolution of the image we hold of ourselves and the movement we can create. Gaining a higher resolution of our movement allows us to experience the nuance between the beginning and ending of each move allowing us to complete more difficult moves and connect basic moves with flow.

This winter season, Parkour Team is only available through our new five-a-month team membership. While most Parkour Team Members practice just once-a-week, we are including an “bonus” monthly drop-in each month. This drop-in can be used for any parkour visions class (age requirements still apply). The goal here is to get our team members out, practicing parkour at different locations with different students and different coaches at least once-a-month. And… they can be used in Portland or Seattle.

  • University of Washington: Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday

  • Mt. Tabor Park: Tuesday & Sunday (alternating)

  • Irving Park: Wednesday & Sunday (alternating)

Prerequisites: To join, students should have at least six months of parkour experience (or two seasons with Parkour Visions) and be able to demonstrate proficiency in fundamental parkour techniques.
