Our parkour youth programs are an amazing outlet for children. Parkour teaches crucial physical, social, and emotional skills. By navigating obstacles, kids and teens learn the confidence and bravery to approach all of life’s challenges.
Portland Locations
Mt. Tabor Park is the OG Portland parkour spot offering the most versatile and nature-based parkour training experience in Portland. We also run programs at Irving Park, Westmoreland Park, Washington Park and Grant Park (in collaboration with Beverly Cleary School). We also offer our public facing school program at Astor School for any interested kids looking to train parkour in NE Portland.
Across the river, we continue to run classes in Vancouver, WA at Esther Short Park!

This program develops confidence and parkour skills, covering jumping, vaulting, climbing, balance, and quadrupedal movement. Each class includes ukemi (falling safety) and skill applications like games and obstacle courses. Students of all levels will begin classes together and then branch off into distinct groups for skill practice based on their individual capabilities and experience. This allows students to bond with friends across their age group during games and group activities and still allows students to develop skills based on their personal capacity and physical competency.

Our Parkour Team offers a fantastic opportunity for self-motivated young athletes in a structured long-format class (90-120 minutes). In this program, your child will deepen their understanding of foundational skills and learn exciting new techniques like vaults, climb-ups, and cat backs. They’ll build strength and agility, allowing them to safely access faster and more powerful movements. As participants in the Youth Team, they’ll also gain valuable skills in creating their own lines, spotting challenges, and assessing risks safely. It’s a wonderful way for them to unleash their potential while having fun!

In this inter-generational class, guardians will work with their youth to move creatively and efficiently in a collaborative, non-competitive social environment. Every session includes a warm-up & cool-down, falling safety (ukemi), skill practice, movement games, and obstacle courses. All children under 13 years must have an adult guardian present to participate.

Parkour FUNdamentals: Where Movement Meets Play! Get ready for an adventure designed especially for our little explorers! This is a fun-filled experience where we focus on developing your children's fundamental physical competence through games, challenges, and free play. Instead of honing in on specific parkour skills, we cultivate essential mobility, balance, and strength in a game-based environment, preparing students for future parkour classes when their bodies and minds are ready!
-
In this engaging class, we explore the principles of the Flow State of Mind. We then practice and apply them to choreographed movement sequences while striving to gain access to and maintain a flow state of mind. This is the state that many of the greatest athletes and performers in the world enter when operating at their peak. We will train to enter that state at will. Students will connect basic parkour and dance maneuvers into a beautiful, personal expression of movement that is entirely their own.
